Randall Wayne McCarver, age 77, of Fort Mill, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Piedmont Medical Center.Services will be private and held at a later date.Born in Rock Hill, SC, Randall was the son of the late Bill and Margie Genell McCarver. He was preceded in death by his wife, LaVeta McCarver. Randall was a US Marine where he served in the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the American Legion. He was an avid golfer and loved golfing at the Fort Mill Golf Course. Randall was a Woodsman and enjoyed woodworking. He worked for Duke Power and retired from Comporium.Surviving are his children, Randy (Suzanne) McCarver of Indian Land and Rhonda McCarver of York, SC; siblings, Eric McCarver of Brevard, NC and Dorinda Gaye (Fred) Kimbrell of York; grandchildren, Treston Strait, Will Guthrie, Tex McCarver, and Zoey McCarver; and a great-grandchild, Arden Strait. Randall use to come in my Daddy's cafe Slick's when he was around 15, everybody loved to watch him dance and Randy being the showman he was would show off his dancing for everyone. Randall was so nice and always happy. He will be missed. 🙏 For the family. B. Jennings
sorry for the loss of a good friend. done a lot of things back in our younger days. played golf togather almost every week-end and partners in tournaments. thought about randall a lot when i moved away from ft.mill. prayers for the family. rest in peace my friend.
So sorry to hear about Randall. I was friends with his sister Gaye. I used to spend the night with them all the time. We would fuss about who was getting the fan. The Mill-Hill gang was so wonderful.
